Albert Namatjira & Hermannsburg

Araluen holds a comprehensive collection of artworks by Albert Namatjira that span his career as well a large collection of works from the Hermannsburg School including Namatjira’s contemporaries, his sons and grandchildren and artists who continue the watercolour tradition today. These works provide an extensive catalogue of this important movement. The copyright for works by Albert Namatjira have recently been transferred to the Namatjira Legacy Trust and with their permission will be reproduced here in the near future.
