With no pre-selection process, the Advocate Art Award is Alice Springs' all-inclusive art award and exhibition. Much-loved by the Alice Spring community, it brings together works by new, emerging and established artists working across any medium.

Since 1978 the Advocate Art Award has been coordinated and presented annually by the Central Australian Art Society (CAAS), a volunteer-run organisation in Alice Springs that supports local art and artists. It is their gala annual event, offering a number of significant prizes thanks to the generous sponsorship of local businesses, including the major non-acquisitive Chapman & Bailey Excellence Prize of $2500. 

The exhibition continues until Sunday 13 August 2023.
