Araluen Arts Centre is looking for local actors to assist The Young King

The Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture’s Araluen Arts Centre are searching for four local actors to feature as part of the upcoming performances of The Young King by Slingsby Theatre Company.

The Young King will play in the Araluen Theatre on Tuesday 18 June, 10.00am and 1.00pm and is an immersive theatre experience that brings the beautiful and tender language of Oscar Wilde to life on stage.

We are looking for four individuals to facilitate the role of the Courtiers who assist with the pre-show promenade prior to the audience taking their seats.

The Courtiers are required to be engaging, willing to interact directly with our audience and learn a short simple script.

The positions are open to anyone over the age of 18 with a current Ochre card.

Interested should email Lisa-Marie Burgoyne by COB Tuesday 28 May.
