Unearthed from the Archives
Three leading Central Australian creative professionals discuss what they unearthed in the archives and how it shaped their creative projects. Head curator Luke Scholes on making unexpected findings about Papunya’s art history in the Central Australian archives, filmmaker Penny McDonald on using material from the archives to enhance storytelling in Audrey Napanangka, and ABC broadcaster and podcaster Alex Barwick on her deep dive into the Pine Gap protest material for Spies in the Outback.
