While trying to settle into everyday life in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi are thrown into a galactic crisis when the vengeful Bowser Jr. abducts Princess Rosalina and her mysterious Luma children.
Determined to siphon her cosmic powers to unleash a universe-destroying weapon, Bowser Jr. forces the heroic plumbers, Princess Peach, Toad, and their new ally Yoshi to leave the Mushroom Kingdom behind.
Rocketing across deep space, the team must face dangerous traps, navigate gravity-bending new galaxies, and confront iconic threats to save the cosmos from absolute destruction.
