Swan Lake is one of the most famous classical ballets performed all over the world to full houses in the most famous theatres for weeks on end.
This stunning classical ballet was originally shelved for 10 years because the choreographer of the day was not happy withTchaikovsky’s music score. Years later the music was re-discovered and the story of Swan Lake was revived and produced in Russia, choreographed by Marius Petipa.
Duprada Dance Company first staged Swan Lake in 2004 with costumes from The Australian Ballet Company and has staged the ballet every four year.
