The Beanie Retrospective Exhibition

Araluen Arts Centre is excited to present an extraordinary selection of beanies collected over the past 30 years, from the Alice Springs Beanie Festival! 

Featuring an array of amazing works, this exhibition demonstrates how the emerging creativity and exquisite designs of the beanies from the Alice Springs Beanie Festival has evolved over the past three decades.

Many of these beanies are prize winners from the renowned National Beanie Competition held at the Alice Springs Beanie Festival each year.

This retrospective exhibition celebrates and acknowledges the joy, love and colour of this unique event.

This year marks the 30th anniversary and final year of the festival and while we are sad to see it conclude, we will always remember the warmth and delights the Alice Springs Beanie Festival has brought to beanie lovers around the world.
